Sorry if wrong sub, please help and direct me to the right place if so.
So here in Florida and we just had lightening hit our apartment. We had a laptop, PS4, and smart TV plugged into a surge protector. None of our items work now but the surge protector still works and all green lights are on for protected. What do we do now? The outlet works fine. Are we just out all this money on these products? We are out of warranty on all of them. Is there a way we can just have these items fixed instead of replacing? Thanks in advance.
Also, we already called Belkin (surge protector) and they said file a claim but I doubt anything will come of that.
Also, we have renters insurance. We called but are having to wait a long time for the adjuster to contact us back and book a date due to all the hurricanes.
