Description of problem
The speed Decreases by 50% while using a router.The router is like 15centimeters away from where I use my laptop.I have a 100 Mbps Connection and would get around 95 Mbps if I connect directly (wire)via modem. But since I had to be able to connect to multiple devices i bought a router for it.And now when i use it via wifi(new router) the speed drops by 50-60% and I get around 40 Mbps.Stable.It's depressing. Connecting via wifi cause the speed drop.Connecting via modem directly through a wire gives me full speed.
What I've tried so far to resolve the issue
I tried, connecting other devices via wifi,Same result. The wifi speed is like about halved.I didn't have another ethernet cable to test if that wouldn't cause the speed drop.
