My Samsung Galaxy Note Edge started to get very warm all of a sudden. I thought it was just because I was running a lot of apps on it but all of a sudden it turned off even though my battery level was at 45%.
This is the second time this has happened this last two weeks but this time I decided to pop open the back to let the battery and cool it off quicker. I noticed the battery was bulging and I've read about this before so I took it out and placed it on my desk away from anything and just let it sit for an hour or two.
I think it has shrunk down a little but I don't want to risk doing anything. Is this a pretty clear-cut case of my phone battery being gone?
I am definitely going to replace it but I just want to know if I need to replace the battery or do I need to get a new phone completely? Also, I am currently in uni and not having my phone for a while (especially the next couple of days) is really going be hard. Is there absolutely no way and can use it for a little longer before buying a new battery?
