Hello, I have a pretty big problem with my PC. I built this PC a few years ago and it has always been a wonky build because it was my first selfbuilt PC and I didn't really know how to do everything properly. The biggest thing is probably that the power button never worked and I always had to start the PC by cutting it from the power for about 20 seconds and then giving it power again. That worked fine for a few years but it's obviously not ideal. I recently switched out the GPU and added a CPU cooler, which gave me a lot of performance and still worked fine for about two months, but recently it would suddenly turn itself off or not start with the first try. Yesterday it wouldn't start at all for a fee hours and the same thing is happening today.
Something that is probably important: Sometimes when I tried to start the PC I would hear a short crackling noise coming from the PSU. That's obviously not good, but it still worked fine for a long time.
Any idea what I could do in this situation?
