Hello, I've recently come into an issue with my homebuilt PC.
Here is system spec: * MSI H110M PRO-D Motherboard * Intel i3 3.8 GHz * Corsair VS450 PSU * 8GB Crucial DDR4 RAM * Sapphire Radeon R470 NITRO+ * Crucial MX300 525GB SSD
The system has been running stable since november 2016. Recently, the following issue has come up:
- When I power up the system via front panel switch after it has been off for some hours, it will not power up. Sometimes, I see a brief flash of the power led when I first try to power it up, otherwise the system will stay completely off (no MB leds lit, no fans, etc).
- If I disconnect power cable from mains (or turn off system via PSU switch), wait 30 seconds and then reconnect mains, I can realiably (100% of the times) start up system via front panel switch. The system will run stable once powered up (grphics heavy games, etc.).
I narrowed the problem to PSU or MB, but have no clue on how to solve it. Updated BIOS to latest version, but it didn't solve the issue (firmware patch notes stated "Fix system sometimes fail to power on").
Any clue on what to do next? I don't have a spare PSU/MB to try.
Thanks!
