So, my PC is a Windows 10 Desktop, all components are wired.
The mouse in question is a Corsair M65.
Mouse works fine in bios. I arrive to the login and I can’t use my mouse. I login and still can’t use my mouse. Mouse is detected in Corsair Utility Engine and Windows Device Manager.
Using Windows 10 Trouble Shooter it detects issues with a wireless network usb dongle, and ps/2 mouse (which is weird because it’s usb) attempts to reinstall drivers and fails both.
I’ve attempted
unplugging the mouse and waiting a few minutes and plugging it back it, nothing.
Restarting the PC, nothing.
Shutting down the PC fucking off for a little while (maybe 45minutes to an hour) starting it up, nothing.
Uninstalling drivers, reinstalling them, nothing.
Deleting all USB Controllers and restarting the PC, nothing.
This happened to me once before and the only way I was able to fix it was to do reinstall Windows. That’s a pain in the ass and I would love nothing more than to avoid doing that.
Has anyone successfully fixed this issue?
