So, i've bought a used P6X58D with a Xeon X5650. The thing runs stock on 2.6 GHz which is quite low so i tried to boost it up. After typing in the wished Clock and rebooting, the motherboard doesn't post anymore, no beeps, no screen-output and the DRAM_LED is now red. Fans are atleast spinning. The cooling was more than proper with a dark rock pro 3, but that doesn't even matter as it never had any load onto it since the OC, so it's impossible that it ran too hot. I also tried resetting the BIOS by removing the CMOS-Battery and took out every RAM-Stick except for one and tried out multiple ones in one slot, no success and MemOK! seems to be useless. Also the PSU was more than fitting with 750 Watts of power, an EVGA 750 GQ to be specifc. It's also weird that Asus' CPR kind of failed. The whole system was running just fine. I'm quite done to this point, any ideas?
