This is the most strangest issue I’ve ever seen.
I have this computer and I bought Microsoft Word 2016 for it and installed it. Everything was fine until one day one of my documents for work had text boxes that simply vanished. There are multiple text boxes but only some of them disappeared while others remained in tact. I tried recreating them but Word acted as if this area didn’t exist. The cursor could hover over it but clicking it does nothing. It will not allow anything to be added there.
I tried using this document on other computers with other versions of Word and Windows. Windows XP, Windows 7, Word 2003, Word 2007, Word 2016. It works on every other computer except this one, regardless the version.
I even tried recreating the entire document from scratch. Literally, didn’t even copy and paste from the old document. Recreated everything from the ground up.
So I uninstalled Word 2016 and reinstalled it. Everything was fine for about a week. Then it happened again.
What is going on? Anything I can do?
