Description of problem
I migrated to a new computer. Doing so, I copied the c:\user\ directory to a backup drive to recover my desktops and other windows 10 user data later for both mine and my wife's profiles.Turns out I probably messed up the copy because her user directory is empty (I'm admin on my system). I need help recovering the data from the original drive, if at all possible. The problem is that since then, I have removed the existing partitions, reallocated the space on that drive to a new simple partition (quick formatted) and copied some files on there (about 48 GB over a 256 GB capacity).Is there any possibility of accessing the data from the old partition? Any help will be appreciated as my wife is pretty mad right now...
