While using a Linux live CD, I noticed that a 6.2 GB folder that I'd deleted over a year ago still existed on the hard drive I use for data. It had a name something like $RFTED6. When I tried to delete it, a window popped up and said that access was denied. This folder could not be deleted, even while Windows wasn't running. I've never run into this before. Usually, in any live Linux session, I've been able to do anything I've needed to do when it comes to file handling. Does anyone know what makes this hidden folder so different?
