Hey all, I'm looking for as many OEM recovery ISOs as possible to kick start a project I've wanted to do for years. My plan is to basically create one huge library of OEM recovery discs / media as possible and make them available for all via an easy to use portal.
All I need is for people to take 5 minutes to create a recovery disc or ISO of their laptop (no, your personal details wouldn't be compromised!) and send me a download link. Once I have a big enough library I can add them to my software and make them available. The software will be available as a free download via the Windows Store and users will be able to simply search their laptop make and model and download the relative ISO for their laptop.
Reason: I'm sick of fixing people's computers to have them turn around and say "this isn't factory reset" just because they don't have the original Nero trial installed or something similar. Plus an open internet is a better internet.
Requirements: A bootable ISO file containing factory recovery software The make and model of your laptop The operating system version the ISO contains (optional)
Do NOT: Send product keys... this project is not to breach any copyright laws Send personal information, such as email addresses and serial numbers to laptops Embed viruses or unwanted software inside the ISO, I can and WILL verify all content before it's used anywhere (via Sandbox of course)
