Trying to install Linux Mint - Error message:
Core perfctr but no constraints; unknown hardware!
I was going to install Linux Mint 18.2 on my PC but encountering this error. I tested the .iso in vmware and it works fine. After some googling it seems this is due to my choice of processor. So far I reformatted the USB stick several times and also flashed BIOS to the latest version. Any ideas appreciated
