Background:
I built this PC myself about 3 months ago, I has run great with very little issues until a week ago. Suddenly it began to have an intermittent issue where the video signal would cut out, but most times the audio continued, though usually some sounds did not seem to be rendered any longer.
It usually happens while I'm gaming but that is 99% of what I am doing while my PC is on. It has happened during Battlefield 1, Bad Company 2, and Play Unknown.
Sometimes it happens 10 minutes into a game, sometimes it doesn't happen for hours.
When the issue first happened, I lost video but no audio, I had to hold the power button to shut down the PC. I did a fresh install of my GPU drivers and it solved the issue for two or three days.
The next time it happened, I lost video and most of my audio, and the fans on the PC went to 100%. I reinstalled my drivers and got no change, it still happened after 20min-3hr of used. So I checked all my pore and signal connections in my PC and it appeared to have solved the issue for a day. I also decided to install software to monitor my CPU and GPU temps at this time. I use Rain Meter, MSI Afterburner, and CoreTemp to display my temps on a screen overlay.
Now it is happening again where all video and all audio cut out immediately and the fans go to 100% at the same time. CPU temps were displayed at around 55C and GPU was at around 65C. From my research this should be normal.
The only light on the EZ Debug when this happens is the CPU light with options for BOOT, VGA, DRAM, and CPU.
Where is this issue likely steaming from and where should I start solving it from?
