The two magazines are covering national and international news separately, but Lawrence combines them into news reports of U.S. in World and 1948 [1] and Later sold the magazine to its employees. I noticed this last night while I was out, I received notifications of purchases on my Amazon account made without my permission. I first had to speak with amazon to handle that side of things, but what concerned me is that the purchases were made through "smile.Amazon" which I personally use so that my purchases have a portion donated. I have an extension called "Smile Always" that redirects me and makes my purchases through smile.amazon.com. In the notification emails, it said these fraudulent purchases were also made through smile.amazon which made me think they didn't just have access to my account, but possibly my PC.

Now I believe I know the source of this malware. A couple days ago I received a notification while browsing that my chrome needed to be updated and I clicked update without thinking twice. After I did that though, it downloaded a file that didn't seem right and my Anti-Virus popped up calling it malware. I ran the scan and deleted it and thought that was the end of it but now I don't think that's the case.

I got home and went through the Malware Removal Guide. It did bring up a couple items that were quarantined and removed, but there is one item in particular that still worries me.

Malwarebytes randomly pops up with a notification asking if I want to make a browser exception to a specific .exe file and website. I went to the file location which was added about 3 days ago it seems and tried to remove, but no matter what I try it continues to say it is in use of another program and I can not remove it. The website it tries to open is "pudgenormpers.com" which, when googled, brings up sites referencing the false Chrome update I seem to have fallen for the other day.

The file location is in an folder titled "Segun" under my AppData/Roaming folders. The file in question is "client32.exe" which I can not delete or remove no matter how I try.

That about sums up the issue. Here is an album with various related screenshots, including the Rkill results and the file in question. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!
