I just upgraded my mobo and CPU and reinstalled Windows 10 Pro. Everything is working as expected except when I click on a hyper link in a program that is not a web browser it takes like 3-5 mins for the browser to open. I have no idea what is causing this. I Have seen it from multiple programs, EM Email client, Word 2016, and even the ms store (clicking paypal option which triggers a web browser). Issue is the same if I set default to a different browser so I feel like it is a windows issue.
If I open Chrome and start clicking around everything works as it should. It is only when the link is coming from an external program. Has anyone seen this or have any ideas on what it could be?
