Description of problem
I am having a bit of a trouble setting up Traktor on a brand new laptop. I want to use this laptop for audio performance and about every ten minutes there is an audible crackle on the sound. This happends on the battery and AC. I installed Latency Monitor to see exactly what happens. The results suggest processor throttling and power managment to cause the spikes. When these spikes occur I experience audio dropouts, i.e. the sound glitching for a few seconds and thes goes back to normal. The drivers that appear to cause the spikes are mainly ACPI.sys and Wdf01000.sys however when these spikes occur there are various drivers hitting the 1ms DPC (i.e. DirectX, NDIS, storport.sys)

Cause/Steps to recreate the issue
Run Traktor or other audio programms for some time and wait to hear the sound crackling, this usually occurs after ten minites of use. The spikes are not consistent but one or two in a period of ten minutes. Sometimes there aren't there at all so it is a bit difficult to locate the problem.
What I've tried so far to resolve the issue
I ran through the BIOS and disabled Intel SpeedStep and related settings, run through optimization guides for live audio but no luck. Note that the proccesor now is running constantly on base speed, a.k.a 2.30GHz. I have already run through alla updates and tested disabling various devices on the machine such us networking (WiFi and Ethernet), on-board audio card, ACPI compliant battery etc with no significant difference. Various driver updates on drivers and BIOS didn't help either. Multicore support on Traktor is usually disable although I tested it on, buffer size is 256 and USB is 3ms. The CPU meter on traktor is all the time realy pinned down all the time except for a brief second or two when these spikes occur and you can hear some glitching.
