So, since a while I've been getting the lovely ol' BSOD. These appear to be different ones each time. The latest being;
BCCode: 1e
BCP1: 0000000000000000
BCP2: 0000000000000000
BCP3: 0000000000000000
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 256_1
So far I've tried;
-
Running malware bytes / virus scan
-
Completely reïnstalling the NVidia drivers
-
running sfc /scannow. This always indicates the following;
00000204 [SR] Repairing corrupted file [ml:520{260},l:74{37}]"\??\C:\Windows\system32\drivers\nl-NL"[l:28{14}]"usbhub.sys.mui" from store
but also indicates it repaired the file.
- Moving the RAM sticks from slot 2 / 4 to slot 1 / 3.
It only occurs with gaming. Battlefield 3 / 4, Doom (although I haven't tried this one in a while) and Mad Max (also haven't tried this in a while.) Other games like Rocksmith, skyrim and Battlefield bad company 2 are fine.
Even then, it doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes I can play a few rounds of tdm / rush without any issue. But the next day half a round of either or conquest large will cause it. I suspect this has to do with the player size / intensity.
Anyone got any bright ideas? Also, if you need the minidumps let me know, I cant seem to figure out how to open them. You'd think MS would include a nice error report reading function.
Oh, before I forget, specs!
