Description of problem
Hi, my cat knocked my monitor over and it pulled on the HDMI cable which was connected to the GPU. I was logged into Final Fantasy XIV which ran fine the night before this happened. After this happened, the monitor wouldn't work until I plugged the HDMI into the motherboard instead. Of course, this meant Final Fantasy XIV was now unplayable due to getting 2 FPS. The computer works fine otherwise.
The GPU doesn't appear to be bent or damaged in any way. The PCI-E slot however, is bent/bowed a bit. I'm wondering if this is the likely cause. I've enclosed a picture and yes, it's very dusty. I dusted it out after taking the picture but it hasn't helped with this issue. http://ift.tt/2ySRJYm

Cause/Steps to recreate the issue
I believe it is due to the monitor pulling on the GPU after being knocked over.
What I've tried so far to resolve the issue
I have tried the following:

Different HDMI cables
-
Purchasing a DP to HDMI cable so I could try a different port in the GPU, nothing
-
Removing the GPU and putting it back in.
Sadly, I don't have access to another PC to test the GPU.
I'd greatly appreciate any advice that could be given. I'm not the most confident person when it comes to this sort of thing and have always bought my PC's premade as I have too little self-confidence to build my own.Thank you. :)
