Come è stato riportato nei media ma in maniera assolutamente non enfatica, il produttore statunitense di origine ebraica è stato un grande finanziatore del Partito Democratico e delle campagne elettorali di Obama e Hillary Clinton.
Indubbiamente un'acerrimo nemico contro Trump, quello stesso
Trump che l'establishment del PD statunitense e certi media mainstream cosiddetti "progressisti" hanno attaccato come emblema del "sessismo americano" e di ogni altro male della società statunitense.
Eppure, tale Weinstein pare peggio di quel "cattivone" di Trump(indifendibile e arrogante personaggio con tanti scheletri dell'armadio, certamente) e d'altronde anche Robert De Niro(tanto acclamato per i suoi video anti Trump) è stato denunciato per molestie.
C'è da dire che ovviamente tale scandalo non ha avuto una grande valenza politica e d'altronde sarebbe sbagliato attaccare i Dem statunitensi per questioni di un loro finanziatore, eppure molto probabilmente sarebbe stato diverso a parti politiche inverse.
