Operating System & Version: Windows 10 Pro x64 1601
GPU Drivers: AMD Crimson 17.10.1
Chipset Drivers: Unsure
Background Applications: None (created a new user account)
Description of Original Problem:
I cannot get FreeSync to work on my G2460PF even though it's connected via a DisplayPort cable. In AMD Settings, it says FreeSync not supported.
Troubleshooting:
I've tried:
- Re-installing drivers (17.7.2, 17.10.1, 16.11.5) with DDU
- Resetting monitor settings
- Resetting motherboard BIOS settings
- Resetting my GPU overclock
- Re-plugging the displayport cable
- Unplugging my second monitor
- Using the G2460PF drivers from their site
- Adding a FreeSync range data block in CRU with the range being 30-144Hz
- Toggling GPU scaling and virtual resolution
- Installing a fresh copy of Windows 10 Pro x64 1601 on another partition and retrying all the things I've mentioned
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
