I saw, via Google, that this sub helped someone else out with figuring out how to do theirs for a Brother scanner a few years back. Hoping to get a miracle out of this one.
However, my answer doesn't seem to be in the manual, and the manufacturer's site indicates that I can get calibration pages with a maintenance kit, yet gives me no way to purchase it (and the kicker is when you go to "where to buy," America is not an option. I bought this thing in America, though...
