«Si tratta di una proposta che vuole riorganizzare il settore dei funerali, riordinare il sistema cimiteriale e combattere l’evasione fiscale, ma che in sostanza introduce nuovi costi per i cittadini per il funerale e la sepoltura dei propri cari – denuncia Luongo -. La nuova ‘tassa’ prevede innanzitutto l’applicazione dell’Iva al 10% sui servizi funerari, fino a oggi esenti dall’imposta e persino il pagamento di una sorta di affitto sulla tomba“, un contributo annuale che dovrebbe essere pari a 30 euro, destinato a finanziare la vigilanza e il controllo da parte delle aziende locali. Il disegno di legge introduce anche l’obbligo per i Comuni di destinare il 20% della TASI incassata ai cimiteri monumentali affinché possano coprire i loro costi».
