Backstory: My Studio XPS 8100 had its harddrive fail a couple years back and I wasn't able to get a system recovery disk so I got a different copy of windows 7 and ran with that up until a couple of days ago when I tried once again to see if I could get a system recovery disk from dell when I saw they had drivers for it so I checked to see if I was missing any and it said i was missed 3.
Only one of the three actually worked(Driver in question) and after installing it my regular 15mb/s internet dropped down to 3~2mbs and a lot of my games started having weird studdering/freezing that didn't affect frame rate. One of my more tech savy friends suggested getting a copy of windows 10 might help and so after doing this is where I'm at now.
Current situation: My internet is running at a lovely 0~100kps and any attempts to redownload my saved copy of windows 7 is extremely unlikely as the download constantly stops. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
