I did this really stupid thing, don't ask me why or tell me I'm retarded, I already regret it enough. Basically I had this cheap X-BASS speaker plugged into the mains (220V) AC for charging and my Nokia Asha 501 phone plugged into my PC through a front USB port. I tried to connect the phone to the X-BASS while both are charging using an AUX cable and as soon as I plugged in, I saw a big spark in the headphone port of the phone. The plastic on the phone turned black and burnt around both the headphone and micro-USB ports and the entire room smelled like burnt plastic (the smell came from the phone). I immediately disconnected everything but the damage had been done. My speaker and my PC won't turn on. The Nokia phone (the one that basically melted) still works perfectly apart from the two ports (there is even another port for charging besides USB which works).
I can't determine whether I just fried my Corsair CX750M PSU or the entire motherboard (and maybe some other parts). Everything inside the PC looks perfect, no dark spots, no weird smells, no melted stuff, etc. None of the parts were hot to the touch 1min after the incident. There is a light on the front of the PC which is always on when the PSU is plugged in, even if the PC is not turned on. But now it's blinking. It briefly blinks at equal intervals every second (off for 0.8s, on for 0.2s, off again, etc.) It seems as if the PSU is trying to power the motherboard every second but only does it briefly and turns off. Pressing the power button doesn't do anything, no fans spinning or anything lighting up besides that one blinking light that's always on. Should I just try to replace the PSU or is it likely that I really fucked everything up? :( Please help!
