Hi guys / girls
Having a bit of a strange problem that I can't seem to figure out. Bare with me as i'm not very good with computers.
I have 2 hardrives, an 850 evo with Windows 10 installed as my C: drive, and an old 500gb WD hardrive.
I've tried to take the old WD hardrive out of the PC a few times, but everytime I do my SSD will constantly be at 90 - 100% disc usage and is visibly slower. I've done all the recommended fixes like disable superfetch etc and none of that has solved it.
This is where it's confusing me. As soon as I plug in the old hardrive and boot the SSD works perfectly again. It's almost as if the SSD is relying on the old hardrive to work properly but I can't figure out why.
