Hello techsupport community,
i hope you can help me. I had a Geforce GTX 560 TI for a few years in my Pc. After a while the Video card started getting loud, so i removed the dust. After doing this, my screen stayed black when i started the PC. I tried replugging everything but it didnt help. So i bought a new Video card, a Geforce GTX 760 and the Pc worked again. For 3-4 weeks nothing happened and everything worked fine. Then on starting the Pc one morning the Screen was black again. This time i did nothing before that, no dust remove or something like that. Its just not working anymore.
So, my question is what to do next. I dont wanna buy another Video Card before i really know what is going on. My first guess is the Voltage in my house. I had 5-6 broken light bulbs in my room and as said 2 Video cards. Rarely when i turn on the light, the light flickers. I'm definitely gonna buy an over-voltage Protection, but still i´m not sure if this will be enough. Especially because my Power Supply is still working. (And shouldnt the Power Supply also have an over-volage Protection?) What would you say is the savest way to get everything working again?
