Hello, so,

I built a PC roughly a month ago for gaming. Specs will be at the bottom. It’s been running smoothly the entire time, no issues whatsoever other than having to be very creative with moving windows as I don’t have a disk drive or pen drive. But I managed.

But today I came home from uni, and woke the PC from sleep, and it ran for about 10 seconds as normal and just turned off. Ever since whenever I initially turn it on, it runs for about a second, and there are no obvious issues with the hardware, the cpu cooler starts up, the GPU fans spin, the motherboard lights up etc. The motherboard has lights on it, and they light up even when off (always did.)

This leads me to believe it is the PSU but I wanted to check if there’s any way to check this out before I try and initiate an RMA. There was no BSOD or error message, the pc just turned off completely as though I’d pulled the plug, but the motherboard stayed lit up.

Thanks in advance.

Specs: CPU: i5 7600k at stock speeds (not had time to overclock yet) GPU: MSI 1080 Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z270-P PSU: Corsair RMx 650 CPU Cooler: Corsair 100i v2
